Encouragements…

well, i’m a lot wiser than i look!  just b/c i sound like a hick and i am from newnan doesn’t mean i can’t be wise!  if anyone thought that i should start off my blogging about the influences in my life with any one other than my wife…well maybe you should pay attention sonnie b/c i’m feedin’ you pearls!  feedin’ ya pearls!  that’s right pearls i tell ya! (scent of a woman)

there have been a ton of influences in my life.  mostly bad in my teenage, college, and twenties…but none the less i have had a bunch.  even though the good people influences in my life have been memorable and i am thankful for them, my wife Ali has been and is the most amazing!  we have been married for five years and it took me about the first two to start realizing why God pulled us two together.  my biggest fear and the reason i thought i would never get married was b/c of fear.  i was afeared (i know that’s not a word but it’s to make the point) of being found out!  (sounds like a message i heard on easter at the vine from DW)  i have a plethera (how ’bout that $10 word)of baggage.  i don’t regret much if anything b/c it has made me who i am today but the baggage is there and Ali has helped me deal with it like nobody’s bidness.  God pulled us together b/c He knew that i needed a positive, encouraging, thoughtful, caring, compassionate, giving, loving, persistant, patient and understanding woman.  you can’t choose one of those on your own.  you have to rely on the greater one for that!

i am a better person b/c of Ali and i love her for it.  thank you for being my wife and for being the greatest influence in my life.  you complete me as a person and are the greatest thing short of Jesus that has ever happened to me.  I speak a blessing of abundance over you and may you receive from me and everyone in your life ten fold of that which you give.  i love you!
